Written in memory of a band director’s son who passed away at an early age, this piece explores sentiments of “saying what needs to be said,” “being in the moment,” and “just having fun.” The thoughtful opening quickly moves into an upbeat, energetic tune, portraying the joys and adventures of life. The important bell part throughout the piece represents “Boundless Light.”
